WRBX-RVA BOOMBOX emerged from humble beginnings, housed within a shipping container nestled in the founder's backyard, on the north side of Richmond, VA. Since the early days, our mission remains unwavering: to provide a platform where artists, musicians, and creative souls from marginalized communities can showcase their talents to the world through live broadcasts.  We're not concerned with the number of likes or subscribers an artist accumulates; instead, we are captivated by the essence and originality of their artistic expression. Our mantra is simple: "All listeners are embraced, catering to the passionate. We're not drawn to the mass appeal, the grand stages, or the hype surrounding the music. Our focus is solely on the music itself, the craftsmanship, and its remarkable quality. While we primarily embrace real Hip-Hop, we are open to supporting and featuring artists who possess a distinct niche that captivates us."
